With the lamp of the Star
The Chios Music Festival was inaugurated in the summer of 2017 on the island of Chios and, since then, has been held every year with a rich program and new collaborations.
The artistic direction of the festival is signed by Olga Holdorff Myriangou and Lefteris Veniadis, two young Chiot artists who live and work permanently in Berlin, Germany. The great response and enthusiasm of the people who participated embraced and practically supported these events, giving the impetus for the creation of a larger organization. Today, the Chios Music Festival is an international festival that aims to become an institution, an additional point of reference for the island, which will not only be a point of attraction for visitors, but will also benefit permanent residents. For this reason, the festival is divided into two periods, summer and winter, with the latter emphasizing educational music programs.
