Ouzo Fest 2025
Since 2013, the Lesvos Distillers Association has been organizing the Ouzo Fest on the island of Lesvos, a unique festival to introduce ouzo, its culture and secrets.
The visitor has the opportunity to taste over 40 labels of ouzo, to chat with the distillers and to be introduced to the secrets of ouzo. Furthermore, he can tour the museums and specially designed spaces, learning about the history and production method of ouzo, which is inextricably linked to the island. Live music and tasting with traditional products of the island that accompany ouzo enhance the event. The festival takes place every year, usually in July, as part of the Lesbian Summer, and takes place both in the city of Mytilene and in Plomari.
