Katsouni

Katsouni beach lies within the Psara settlement, on its eastern side. It is one of the island’s best-known beaches and attracts the largest number of visitors. The beach is sandy with shallow, clear waters. At the end of the beach stands one of the island’s most important historic buildings, the Spitalia, the former quarantine wards, which today operate as a café–restaurant. Finally, a Beach Volley tournament is organized on this beach every summer with the contribution of the Cultural Association “Brotherhood of Psarians.”
