DISCONNECTION AND SEA
As expected, fishing and livestock farming are the mainstays of the local agro-food industry. Fresh fish, fantastic kakavia, local cheeses and goat meat, and of course the traditional katimeria, with local brine cheese, or bourekia with zucchini.
A small island with just over 100 inhabitants, Thymaina is not particularly well known to the general public, but -like many islands- it hides treasures! Some of them are found in nature and the trails, others in the unique flavors based on local products and traditional recipes, and the greatest treasure is the hospitable people of the island.
